3D DESIGN

(3Dimensional) Refers to objects that are constructed on three planes (X, Y and Z). A 2D (two-dimensional) drawing program can be used to illustrate a 3D object; however, in order to interactively rotate an object for different views, it must be created as a 3D drawing in a 3D drawing program.www.setmech.com and for detail information of catia ,visit (www.catia-begin.blogspot.com , www.profit11.com get the latest and hidden mobile and pc trick on www.pczonetech.com

AUTO DESK VAULT

Autodesk Vault is a data management tool integrated with Autodesk Inventor Series, Autodesk Inventor Professional, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Electrical, and Civil 3D products. It helps design teams track work in progress and maintain version control in multi-user environments. It allows them to organize and reuse designs by consolidating product information and reducing the need to re-create designs from scratch. Users can store and search both CAD data (such as Autodesk Inventor, DWG, and DWF files) and non-CAD documents (such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel files).

The Vault environment functions as a client server application with the central SQL database and Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS) applications installed on a Windows based server with client access granted via the Vault Explorer application. ADMS acts as the middleware that handles client transactions with the SQL database. Vault Explorer functions as the client application and is intended to run alongside the companion CAD software. The Vault Explorer UI (User Interface) is intended to have an appearance similar to Microsoft Outlook and can display the Vault folder structure, file metadata in the form of a grid and a preview pane for more detailed information. The essential nature of Vault is as file versioning system that "records" the progression of all edits a file has undergone. All files and their associated metadata are indexed in the SQL base data management system and are searchable from the Vault client interface.

GOOGLE MAPS

Recently the internet search giant Google made a version of their popular maps service available for mobile phones via a download from the Google website. This Java based mapping software allows you to get directions and find out where you are directly on your mobile. While it has not yet been integrated with a GSM service, it is thought that the next generation version of the software will be tied into signal strength from your local cell transmitters in order to pinpoint your location and allow you to use the local services offered by Google through its search functions.

The Google maps interface on a computer is easy to use, you simply drag the map within your browser using the mouse pointer, butt on a mobile it is a little harder to move around the map because of the way in which you have to interact with it using your keypad buttons. Zooming in is easy enough, and there is plenty of detail available out local locations and vital details such as street names are available.
The Google maps for mobile phones service does offer directions from one location to another, but this can take a little while to figure out. Unfortunately, the new functions of Google Maps that are available on the Internet, such as the ability to specify whether you want to travel on the motorway or not, and whether there are particular places along your route that you want to visit.
The most impressive thing about Google Maps is that it is completely free to download and use on your mobile. The policy of Google to supply software for free and then have it supported by the sale of advertising to surround it means that there are commercial factors in the release of the program for use on mobile phones, but this is fine for most users provided that the adverts that they are supplied are appropriate and in the context of the map that they are using.
